Dan Lindenfeld is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a rich and diverse background. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Florida State University in 1989. Following a distinguished 25-year career in the United States Army and Army Reserve, Dan attained a Master's Degree in Community and School Counseling from Winona State University.
Dan currently practices privately in Rochester, Minnesota. He is occasionally assisted in virtual therapy by his dogs Winnie and Lola. Outside of his professional work, Dan is an avid chess player and enjoys attending rock concerts and theater performances. Dan is engaged to Heather Schandorff and has two adult children Abigail and Joshua.
With a blend of military discipline and psychological expertise, Dan uses a counseling approach that incorporates leadership experiences from his military service with cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy.
Michelle Robin Gould is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Florida), a National Certified Counselor, and a Board Certified–TeleMental Health Provider. She has an MS in mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University (2012), an MA in composition, rhetoric, and digital media from Nova Southeastern University (2017), and is a doctoral candidate in the EdD program in instructional technology and distance education at Nova Southeastern University. Michelle holds Instructional Designer and Learning Designer credentials from IDOL Courses Academy®, the only authorized trade school for instructional design and online learning. The Michelle Robin Gould Corporation has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7583. In her telehealth private practice, Michelle specializes in the treatment of substance use and co-occurring disorders, particularly trauma and anxiety. Katelyn Barker is a PhD student at York University in the faculty of Gender, Feminist, and Women’s studies. Hailing originally from the East Coast of Canada, Katelyn has been working in the feminist sector since 2015. As a queer femme, her academic work has been grounded in making visible the often-ignored corners of the queer experience. Her current research examines experiences of sexual violence within lesbian and gender non-conforming relationships.
Thomas Zimmerman, M.S.Ed., LPCC is an EMDRIA-Certified Therapist and Approved Consultant. Thomas owns and practices at EMDR Cleveland in Shaker Heights, OH. He is a graduate of the Institute for Creative Mindfulness Training Program in EMDR Therapy. Thomas maintains a popular blog and podcast on EMDR therapy and trauma therapy. He also manages some of the largest social media resources for EMDR therapists globally. Thomas focuses on the intersection of EMDR with clients with complex trauma and is active developing and teaching Flash-approaches to trauma work.
Kirsten Cheong, LMFT, is a dedicated therapist specializing in helping high-achieving women overcome anxiety, people-pleasing, and perfectionism. With a compassionate and relatable approach, Kirsten empowers her clients to set healthy boundaries and build confidence. Drawing from personal experience, she understands the challenges her clients face and offers practical strategies for lasting change. Dr. Jakob Mauer, DSW, LCSW, is the founder of Evergreen Therapy Services LLC, specializing in LGBTQIA2S+ affirmative care, relationship counseling, and mental health support for teens and adults. With over a decade of experience, he employs a strengths-based, client-centered approach integrating evidence-based modalities such as Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy. A Montana native and queer outdoorsman, Dr. Mauer is also an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Nevada State University, researcher, and supervisor, presenting nationally on queer mental health. He holds a DSW from Walla Walla University and has a background in clinical social work, case management, and acrobatics—celebrating mountain summits with a signature handstand. Outside of his practice, he enjoys hiking, pickleball, board games, and exploring new cuisines.
Brandie Boehmer is a therapist specializing in trauma with 13+ years of experience and 7 years in social services. She holds a master's in social work and certifications in neuropsychotherapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, and FLASH therapy.
